Biography
Josh Bissell is a Christian artist who crafts faith-driven, indie-folk worship music marked by honest lyrics, warm acoustic textures, and a pastoral, grounded approach to storytelling. His songs often explore themes of waiting, trust, and the quiet work of God in everyday life, offering listeners something steady in seasons that feel uncertain.
As a songwriter and independent artist, Josh has collaborated with notable writers and producers including Seth Mosley, Jesse Reeves, Benji Cowart, and Chris Clayton. He has also worked with artists such as Tauren Wells and Davies. His work sits at the intersection of acoustic-driven worship and thoughtful, modern production.
He released his debut EP In Between in November 2024, a project centered on the tension of trusting God in the middle of the story. His earlier single “Just As Good” received airplay on Air1, introducing his music to a broader national audience.
In addition to his work as an artist, Josh serves as a worship leader at Church of Whitestone. He regularly partners with churches, retreats, and camps to create worship environments that are both accessible and spiritually grounded. He is currently working on a new full-length project that continues to explore themes of trust, surrender, and God’s steady presence in the waiting.
