THE KINGDOM CHORUS STORY · OCTOBER 27, 2026
Prestonwood’s Christmas production returns to Plano.
This December, Prestonwood Baptist Church will welcome audiences back to The Gift of Christmas, a stage production that pairs the scale of a concert with the familiar story of Jesus’ birth.
Prestonwood Worship’s voices and live orchestra are part of a much larger cast that fills the stage with Christmas music, elaborate scenery, lighting and movement. There are flying angels and striking visual effects, but the production keeps returning to the manger: Mary and Joseph, the shepherds, and the hope Christians celebrate at Christmas.
The 2026 run includes 14 performances from December 4–6 and 9–13 at Prestonwood’s Plano Campus. Prestonwood describes the show as a roughly 100-minute experience, with Christmas favorites and a Living Nativity woven into the program.

MORE THAN A CHRISTMAS CONCERT
A story you can see and hear.
Part of the joy of The Gift of Christmas is seeing how much happens in the room. A large choir and orchestra give the music its scale. Costumes, scenery and choreography carry the story from bright Christmas moments to the Living Nativity.
For listeners who know Prestonwood Worship through its recordings, this is a chance to experience the people and music behind those songs in person. For families and friends visiting together, it is an invitation to pause amid the season and focus on why Christmas matters.
