This song has been in the making for 10 years. What started out as a chorus and bridge written during an intense encounter with God’s presence, has since grown into an anthem for my life. This is very on par with modern worship. I would akin it to “Goodness of God”, “Fear Is Not My Future”, and “Waymaker.”

The song was birthed from a experience I had with the presence of God. It is my daily reminder that, even though I may come to trials and roadblocks, there is still joy to be found in knowing who God is. Holding steadfast to his promises that he will take care of me. I hope when listeners hear this song that they will be reminded to worship God in both good and bad. The same God, who is up on the mountain top with us is the same god who is in the valley. We just have to make the decision if we will be the same in the valley as we are on the mountain top.
