Before the albums,
there was a moment.

Music had always been part of Leslie’s life. But in Nashville, hearing a song offered without pretense, something changed.

She sensed a clear invitation: step beyond familiar church rooms and carry songs into the places where people were still looking for hope.

That calling would lead through motherhood, nursing, voice and piano teaching—and eventually into a solo ministry shaped less by a platform than by presence.

02 · The difficult middle

The road did not
move in a straight line.

A ministry opportunity disappeared. Recording plans stopped. An unhealthy church season left wounds that took years to name and longer to heal.

Depression, anxiety, and broken trust became part of Leslie’s story—but not its ending. Slowly, faith became less about having answers and more about learning to take the next honest step.

03 · Another Mile

Hope became
an album.

In 2016, Leslie felt it was time to record again—even without a clear financial path. The season that followed brought illness, family crises, and more reasons to stop. Instead, those real pressures gave the songs their weight.

Some journeys are measured not by speed, but by the courage to keep going.

04 · The ministry beneath the music

One song.
One person.
Still worth it.

A listener once found “Someone to Call Your Own” in a season marked by illness, fear, and loneliness. The song opened a conversation about faith—and reminded Leslie why the work matters.

Her mission is deeply personal: offer hope to the broken in spirit, encourage the weary to hold on, and let honest songs make room for redemption, restoration, and relationship.
