During a recent interview with Kingdom Chorus founder Eric Abbott, Zach shared his heart behind his music, his passion for live ministry, and what listeners can expect from his upcoming single, “Hallelujah Anyway.”

When asked about joining Kingdom Chorus, Zach did not hesitate to express his excitement.

“It’s the best decision I’ve ever made,” he said.

Praising God When Life Does Not Go as Planned

“Hallelujah Anyway” was written during a season when Zach was dealing with frustration and circumstances that were not going smoothly.

The song centers on the decision believers face when they feel backed into a corner. They can focus on what has gone wrong, or they can continue trusting and praising God through it.

“When your back is against the wall, you can either complain or trust God,” Zach explained. “If you trust Him, you might as well praise Him while you’re doing it.”

That conviction became the foundation of “Hallelujah Anyway.” Zach wrote the song alongside his friend Jesse J in Nashville, and he is looking forward to finally sharing it with listeners.

“I have a lot of songs ready to be recorded,” Zach said. “I can’t wait to get into the studio and release them, starting with this one.”

“My only goal is to help people improve their relationship with Jesus,” he said.
